Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in psychology courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students, covering a diverse range of topics such as introductory psychology, counseling psychology, developmental psychology, organizational psychology, and neuropsychology.
- Develop engaging and interactive course materials that align with program objectives and promote student-centered learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting active student participation and facilitating discussions.
- Mentor and advise students, providing academic guidance and career counseling.
- Engage in scholarly activities, such as conducting research, publishing in reputable journals, and presenting at conferences.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall academic experience and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a recognized university. ABD candidates nearing completion will also be considered.
- Strong expertise in the field of psychology, with specialization in one or more areas.
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational technology is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Dedication to student success and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.
- Active involvement in professional organizations and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
