We are currently looking for a Head of Content to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal! This is a full-time, permanent role.


About the job

As part of the creative team, the Head of Content will be responsible for the production of high-quality and engaging content across various channels, playing a pivotal role in our inbound growth and website lead generation across markets.

You’ll join Acolad’s Global Marketing team, working closely with web & design, SEO & inbound, corporate communications, event marketing and field marketing teams.

You'll get to lead our content strategy and oversee the development and execution of all content initiatives within an international team while helping to meet Acolad’s revenue and conversion goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the content strategy in alignment with the company's overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Write, edit and publish engaging and compelling content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, case studies, emails, videos and social media.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral and sales enablement materials that effectively communicate product features, benefits and value to customers and sales teams.
  • Collaborate closely with product, tech and other internal SMEs to develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and features, and effectively communicate product benefits and value propositions to the target markets.
  • Establish and maintain content guidelines, best practices and editorial standards to ensure the consistency, quality and voice of the brand.
  • Oversee the translation process for content in 11 languages, ensuring cultural appropriateness, accuracy and consistency to drive engagement and conversions in key markets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as SEO, marketing, design and pre-sales, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all content initiatives.
  • Continuously analyze and evaluate content performance using relevant metrics and tools, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall content effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor the content marketing team, fostering creativity and providing guidance and feedback, to ensure the timely execution of the content calendar.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in content marketing, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving successful content strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Familiar with Adobe Experience Manager, Hubspot, SEO tools and analytics platforms.
  • Content writing experience in an international context targeting global markets is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of inbound marketing principles, SEO best practices, and content optimization techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
